20/01/2025, Utrecht, NL/Berlin, DE – JUNA, a joint venture between Scania and sender offering electric trucks through an innovative pay-per-use model, has entered into a strategic partnership with Eco-Movement, the leading global platform for EV charge point data. The partnership supports electric truck drivers and fleet managers in finding suitable charging locations and contributes to the electrification of road logistics. Both partners share the purpose of driving the e-mobility transition towards a smarter, more sustainable, and resilient future.
Finding the Perfect Charger, Every Time Eco-Movement’s quality-checked data, integrated into JUNA’s platform, allows JUNA’s customers and their drivers to locate the most suitable charging stations for their electric truck fleets. From truck suitability and maximum dimensions to truck amenities and accepted eMSP subscriptions, Eco-Movement & JUNA ensure drivers and operators can make informed decisions about which routes to electrify first, and where to charge en route.
Data That Powers a Cleaner Future The synergy doesn’t stop there. JUNA also shares anonymized vehicle sensor data from its e-truck fleet as input to Eco-Movement’s data validation process. This valuable feedback helps to validate and enrich the Eco-Movement station data, so that electric truck drivers get the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the truck suitability of charging locations around the world. This mutual data exchange strengthens the e-truck ecosystem and empowers drivers with unprecedented confidence in their charging journey.
“We are really excited about the collaboration with Eco-Movement,” says Matteo Oberto, CEO of JUNA. “Eco-Movement’s comprehensive and reliable data on public truck charging options, paired with JUNA’s flexible subscription service for electric truck solutions, makes it possible for any carrier to offer emission-free logistics services without any upfront investments in either trucks or private charging infrastructure.”
Steven Schulting, Head of Business Development at Eco-Movement is enthusiastic about the potential of the new partnership with JUNA: “The data from their trucks helps us to validate and enrich our station data, which directly benefits the e-truck drivers of our commercial vehicle customers. And this is just the beginning; JUNA and Eco-Movement are exploring how we can involve the truck drivers to share additional information about charging locations that is relevant for truck drivers like truck-specific amenities.”
